Last Weekend: Saturday.Runway.Winners.

On Saturday morning, I headed east towards Fayetteville for my final destination of the weekend. The day light hours included lunch with my favorite 15 year old in Fayetteville, a wonderful, to die for, this must be what Heaven is like, 90 minute hot stone massage at East Meets West Spa and a few Sephora purchases to make my pictures better at the Fashion Runway Style Show.
I wasn't in the show, just an audience model of fun.
Can this woman be any more beautiful?
At our "reserved" table for the Starry Night Event benefiting Sexual Assault Recovery & Prevention Agency. Loved the chargers, the hydrangeas, and long clothes.
My dear friend and DG sister, Ann. Native philanthropist and lover of fun times, Ann gathered a hysterical line up of fashion forward sisters to line the runway.
Some tables centered on beautiful white hydrangeas, others had diamond trees of sparkle. I can't tell you how bad I wanted to replace my earing with one of these strands. Take note. Very few chairs can be left naked at elegant events.
I heart chair covers.
Ann, Chelsea, and Lydia....sassy Runway smiles.
The two reasons everyone was looking at our table.
The two reasons we were served wine so quickly.
I met Mia over three years ago and it was a DG volunteer connection made in heaven.
I adored working with this sweet sister. Believe it or not...Ann won the grand raffle.
It was her last ticket. One number later I'm not sure we would have laughed ourselves silly.
Upon walking into the event, my sweet sisters alerted me to a lady in my one of a kind dress or so I thought. Of course this lady would be the one who assisted us gathering Ann's loot. We both toasted our beloved designer, TJ. I had to gloat that she paid $18 more than I did. I tell ya..I can make a connection with just about anyone.
A group pic with the night's emcee. My dress buddy mistakenly left her mic on the table...I had to pick it up and use it as a prop for a picture or five. I love a real mic.
The loot. A home entertainment system.
Getting it into Black Beauty (a Honda Accord), was You Tube worthy.
Ending the night at the famous Fayetteville Sunrise Cafe (aka: heart attack on a plate).
Don't you just love a night when you close your eyes and you find yourself STILL laughing? I do.
