OKC Chocolate Decadence 2010

For a gal that prefers a fruit dessert over a chocolate dessert I have been living a chocolate lover's dream world. From Norman's Chocolate Festival to Oklahoma City's Chocolate Decadence, the need for me to fill out an application to the Biggest Looser is just around the next table of chocolate goodies. Neighbor and I met up Thursday night in OKC Automobile Alley for the intake of unneeded calories, I mean the OKC Chocolate Decadence. A slew of our best (to die for) restaurants met up for a night of pure chocolate goodness. Actually, it's a real fancy (hate that word) bake off. But, with wine. Smile.
Complete with a commemorative glass. Two more added to The Weymouth's glassware inventory.
Who knew chocolate was so good in Mexican food?
As if I needed Mexican food to taste any better?
A Live Auction by a few of our local DJs.
I actually am not a fan of this radio morning show as they always go there.
When there doesn't need to be brought up while my Honey Nut Cheerios are still digesting.
Loved the decor. Very fun. Very retro metro.
The place was sooo dark. My best light.
Our friends at Iguanna (my beloved eatery in OKC) had the signature cocktail, chocolate martini shots.
Neighbor wasn't sure at first....
...but as always he rose to the occasion.
It's just in his blood. Our chocolate blood that night.
ps..the necklace in the top picture will be making LOTS of appearances. It was a huge hit amongst these OKC peeps and then later with my Norman peeps at another event. Wearning it this weekend for an event...it might by my signature necklace this season.
