Double Wedding. Double the Celebration.

On May 15, I headed east to attend a first for me. A double wedding. Yep. Two sisters getting married at the same time. Not DG sisters (well, one is), real life biological sisters.
I knew when the invitation arrived to The Weymouth...I would be in for a good party. I heart this font...big time. Most of all, I adore Bride Emily and couldn't miss her celebration.

I have to show you all the paper from this wedding. Look at the program....loved how it coordinates so beautifully with the invite.

Hotel guests received this lovely box (with the wedding logo) full of treats as we checked into the hotel. I love the pallet of colors used on their special day.
Wanted you to see the coordination of design used...a gold/champagne wedding has always been one of my top three choices if/when I become a bride. Lets pray for when. A soon when.

You might be asking what does the logo sKp represent?
S and P are the grooms' last names and K is the brides' maiden name. Beautiful.
The brides and their grooms grew up in The Fort of Arkansas. Thus, the church was filled with their people. I love a full church...all promising and witnessing to God's beauty.
Each couples' wedding party stood on their side of the alter. If you are asking how many were on the alter...38. I loved to see so many people so happy for their friends.

All the bridesmaids wore the same beautiful gown, earrings, and shoes and men in the same tuxes. From what I understand, the brides have such similar taste that made the selections truly easy.
Tables at the church were wrapped with long clothes and GREAT ribbon.
I love the amount of ribbon used for this celebration.
Details. I appreciate and notice them.
Logo used on the sides of the "church to reception cars."

The Brides! Per the Father of the Brides, the girls always wanted to have a double wedding when they were younger. Getting engaged three days of one another, set the scene for this picture perfect evening.

Loved how they displayed the exit fireworks!
The flowers were all white...and beautiful.

Again, the paper details.

Outside the Country Club a huge white tent was set up to welcome the guests.
Middle of the tent!
Emily and her prince, Wade, and their cake!
The brides even wanted the same cake...so they just went with a bigger one!
Tables in the tent...I love these gold chairs.
Me and Bridesmaid Ashley - Ashley was Eta O's founding president.
I knew the moment we interviewed Ashley - I knew, just knew she'd be our first president.
Ashley is just a love and I treasured having time with her and her prince.
Bride Emily and Me. Can Emily be any more gorgeous? I love how she had her hair down for the ceremony and then up with a fun feather for their party!
Emily is just one of those collegians I connected with...I've worked with so many, but Emily was just different. Her spunk, her attitude, and her spirit...I just adore her.
Ann and Bride Emily
Great spread of food and again, just look at the white flowers!
I loved the flower girl dresses...so simple and elegant.
Ann, Robyn, and Erin. Erin currently serves as president for our Eta Omicron Chapter in Fort Smith, AR...so proud of her. I'll get to see ALL these ladies next week in Denver for DG Convention...can't wait!
Double bridal toss....double the beauty!
They did not wear the same dress, but the dresses complimented one another.
Delta Gammas: Emily and Emilee
I consider it a gift to my life to watch sisterhood take off from a moment on Bid Day to asking someone to stand beside you as you marry the love of your life. Sweet girls.
Something Blue...seriously can Emily be any cuter?
I pray for Emily's walk as a bride is just full with happiness and all things wonderful.
Fireworks!
I just LOVE fireworks, of any sort, at the end of any event especially weddings We held sparklers and big ones hit the skies as the couples drove off...magical. I loved being part of this double celebration of love...such a blessing.

The crazy thing is - someone I follow on twitter was at that wedding and tweeting from it and I was thinking "Oh my goodness a double wedding????" and you were THERE! Small world!

Ok, so I'm not surprised that you have a comment from the paper designer! I am SURE you've been on her blog (probably have her cell number already) and seen all of her amazing works. Definitely an amazing contact to have! I heart her!
